Newberry Township Community Fair Day: Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Susquehanna Speedway, York Haven. The event boasts a large display of craft and food vendors, speedway activities, carnival rides and children’s activities. The proceeds from the event benefit the 4 area Fire Companies, the Red Land Senior Center and the Red Land Library. The event is coordinated by the Newberry Business Association. Halloween Family Party: October 18th or 19th (TBD) at 2:00 PM Newberry Township Fire Department
Flicks with St Nick: December 2008 Date 1 6 pm - 8 pm The event is held at the Newberry Township Building. For children ages 3 -1 , come enjoy classic holiday movies with Santa Claus Hot chocolate and treats served.
Newberry Township Annual Easter Egg Hunt: (2009 date TBA), rain
date TBA. The event is held at Shelley Park located on Cassel Road
and is for resident children ages 2 to 12. The Easter Bunny arrives on
the Susquehanna Fire Company Truck, free drawings and an egg hunt. For
